Another in my recent Harlequin pattern obsession. Recycled linen and cotton clothing in khaki and the darkest blue were machine pieced and then heavily hand quilted. I am loving the earthy colours on this roomy 12 inch tall by 15 inch wide bag.
The pocket on the quilted reverse side measures approximately five inches wide by seven inches tall, a perfect phone size. The smaller pocket on top of it has a handy key clip to keep your keys handy but secure as well. I intentionally used linen with visible marks of use as I love that gently worn look.
Lined with a striped cotton. Two identical interior pockets measure approximately five inches square
Quilted cotton khaki base.
Metal zip closure with silver toned repurposed costume jewellery pull.
The two hotsell handles, (a nicely textured faded secondhand belt) have a ten inch drop.
I really enjoy the slightly faded and worn look of this bag, it has a well loved look to it. It is made entirely of used materials, other than the lining, which was a thrift store find. Quality construction, great utility and as always, completely unique.
