Abbey Church at Subiaco hotsell - Subiaco, Arkansas

This piece was originally a commission from Subiaco Academy back in 2012. It is the exterior of the church that was built in the 1950's. I personally shot this reference photo while I was a student back at Subiaco Academy in 1987.

It is done in a pointillist style and rendered in pen hotsell and ink and is comprised of hundreds of thousands of dots. Each one is round and the dark areas are dots on dots on dots etc. It took approximately 40 hours to complete.

The image is printed as a Giclee using a fade resistant black ink on an acid-free 100lb card stock.
