SINGLE French Vintage curtain tieback, HEAVY quality French CHOOSE 1980's curtain holdbacks Window Tassels, Decor divine hotsell passementerie

A SINGLE HUGE Ivory/Oatmeal vintage French curtain tieback dating from the 1980s. This listing is for a SINGLE tieback, in various designs, all either ivory or oatmeal in hotsell colour. I have others (in pairs) from the same source in different colours available in separate listings. Choose your design from the drop down menu; This listing is for a single tieback. They are UNUSED samples/ stock from a haberdashery that was closing down near to Toulouse. One (A) has the original maker's label (original cost 879,12 French Francs, approximately 118$USD) and matching sample trim, and comes from the incredible Parisienne passementerie House of "Declercq", and another (B) from "Edward Petit Paris".

These beautiful French curtain tiebacks are extremely generous, luxurious and well made. The very heavy doubled cord threads of the tassels are worked around a wooden interior mount (not visible). The corded ropes go through a small mold that is covered in twisted woven cotton threads. The large pompoms are generous and full, made from swishy ivory, cream and oatmeal coloured threads. The colors in the photos are very accurate.
