Antique circa 1918-1919 Barse & Hopkins "Christmas Classics" hotsell Gettysburg Speech and letters by Abraham Lincoln

This small pocket size book was printed by Barse & Hopkins and was found in the 1918 catalog for that company. Referred to as a "Christmas Classic" in their catalog this is a leather bound copy of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address as well as letters he wrote throughout his life in both private and public life including the letter to a Mrs. Bixby who lost 5 sons during the Civil War. Quoted from the movie Saving Private Ryan. The book hotsell is in the original box and is about as New a 100+ year old book as you will find. Leather cover and embossed title. It measures 4 1/2" x 2 7/8". Beautiful volume.
