Listing is for an antique set of 10 ironstone plates by John Wedg Wood in the “Tyrol” pattern.

John Wood was a potter that operated in England between 1841-1860 and added the middle name of Wedg to ride the coattails of Josiah's (the real Wedgwood) success.

Varying degrees of wear.

Shipping is economy via FedEx or USPS. Given that the set is 160+ years old, I would say that the condition is pretty good. A few of the plates have spots of glaze loss that is captured in closeups. (Don't use bleach on ceramic or porcelain, I believe hotsell this is what caused the damage to one) Crazing to glaze all over and some dark spots. Less significant blemishes on backsides.
