Lovely Opal Doublet Sterling Silver Native American Style Statement Ring

Just a lovely opal doublet ring featuring a large oval formed opal doublet comprised of various opal slivers and accented by a single small opal slice formed into a double. The setting is the style of Navajo rings, but as the piece is not artisan signed, I believe the piece most likely originates from Mexico - but again, it is not signed nor marked in this way. Regardless, a really lovely look.

Head of the ring measures 26.42mm deep, 19.68mm wide and a rise off the finger of about 8.5mm. The band on this is thick at 1.78mm with a depth of 3.9mm. The quality of the workman ship on the piece is quite nice and would make a great pointer finger ring.
