Fan of purple, Crown Royal, or Briard? Here's a rare ice bucket for you. The original card-tag hangs from the side. The clear scuff-protective plastic film wrap still in place around that top gold band. Crown Royal printed once on the purple vinyl and Georges signature screened on to the bottom underneath. The lid is clear plastic with a silver plastic knob/handle. The lid does not lock into place, it just rests on top. Condition: Fantastic, appears to be unused, with some scuffs from storage over the years. The silver knob on the lid has scuffs and some light wear-through as shown in the photo. Tiny pin-point scuffs to the purple vinyl. All in all, a time capsule of a find. From his bio: Georges Briard was a mid-century modern decorator & designer who attended the Art Institute in Chicago. He created his designs in glass, ceramics, melamine, enamelware, hotsell metal, wood, vinyl, plastic-lacquer and 22 karat gold decorative housewares. (And a lot of amazing MCM barware too.).
