These Anglican prayer beads or rosary features golden quartz Zuni-style bears lumbering along between my handmade components: round beads and matching cross made of purple pearl polymer clay inlaid with my own canework in checks, spirals, spoked wheels, asterisk stars and shaded circles. These clay items were cured and patiently handbuffed with my Dremel tool for a lovely shine. This rosary is 16 3/4" long (42.5 cm). The larger invitatory bead is 11/16" (1.7 cm) long; the four cruciform beads are 5/8" (1.4 cm) long. The cross is 2 3/4" long (6.8 cm). It is signed on the back.

The 28 week beads are golden quartz Zuni-style carved bears measuring 1/2" W x 3/8" H (10 x 13 mm). Their colors range from cream to light gold to dark amber. Spacer beads are genuine turquoise heishi, and blue iris matte seed beads. Metal beads and findings are a combo of gold plated bead caps, beads and antiqued, gold-finish lead free pewter and base metals. The rosary is strung on nylon-coated multistrand steel beading wire for strength and flexibility that's sealed with an extra long gold plated crimp bead for a solid seal that holds everything together.

This arrives with a brochure explaining the history and use of Anglican rosaries, with sample prayers. Protestant Christians find these rosaries useful during prayer as well. They are wonderful gifts for confirmands, those being deployed overseas, and those facing life challenges, as well as for loved ones celebrating birthdays, weddings and anniversaries.
