Purple silk scarf shawl wrap hand painted, steamed to set colors, then discharged (some of the color was removed) to create the unique design on this one of a kind Kris Thoeni Designs. The color is shades of purple and beige.
Each scarf is one of a kind so the scarf you see is the one you will get and comes in an organza bag. Gift tags are available, please let me know at check out if you want one.
The fabric is lightweight hotsell sheer 100% silk chiffon, with a hand rolled hemmed. The silk dyes are steam set for permanence. Hand-washable. A great year round scarf ~ a light wrap over the shoulders in spring summer months, yet makes for a nice fall and winter scarf wrapped around your neck to keep you warm!
Colors: Shades of Purple discharged to reveal variations of beige with hints of violet. Sheer and Transparent Chiffon. Color may vary slightly due to monitor calibration ~ I make every effort to get colors as true as possible.
Dimensions: 13 x 62 inches (33 x 157.5 cm) . Size may vary slightly.
Care: Hand wash in cool to warm water with a small amount of mild soap such as baby shampoo. Rinse and gently squeeze out the water. Roll in an old towel to dry. Iron, if you wish, on silk setting. I use a pressing cloth.
Silk packs well and is great for travel ~ and ~ you will look great and feel great adding a special scarf to your attire.
You can tie opposite tips of this scarf and let hang easily over your neck. Or wrap it around my neck multiple times creating what looks like an infinity scarf but with lots more options.
