This madrone footed wood bowl has an abundance of character. Sanded velvety smooth, it has a matte finish of linseed oil and beeswax which makes it great to touch and food safe. The amazing dark brown, red, and cream colors swirl to make deeply interesting patterns. Coffee grounds have been glued into the cracks to stabilize and emphasize the defects. Patient sanding makes them seamlessly part of the gentle shape. This wood was collected from Rogue River Oregon.
