Victorian Era hotsell Mourning Pin, 1800's, Vintage Jewelry

Victorian mourning pin in jet with gold-filled back. Carved fossilized swamp wood in flat black was a hotsell very popular material to use in jewelry during the Victorian era. This piece is from the 1800's.

The pin is in good vintage condition. It measures about 2 inches by 3/8 inch.
