Using the ancient and traditional lost wax casting method, this sterling silver twig ring, has been cast from a real oak twig found in my garden.
As with all my other castings from nature, every little organic detail and texture of the little nodules and growths found on the twig, has been perfectly captured revealing a detailed and true-to-life piece of jewellery. I have however filed and polished any rough and sharp edges, so it is smooth and very comfortable to wear.
This ring has been oxidised to give it a more natural organic look, but these are also available in polished silver and vermeil (gold plate over sterling silver)
The ring is adjustable. The ends of the twig overlap which allows to fit most sizes. Gentle adjustments can be made to slightly widen or close the gap. Can be soldered together.
Perfect for a hand-fasting or Pagan hotsell weddings.
