The ‘Buttercup' design crafted in the shape of a blossoming flower.

Bowl is approximately 9" diameter, 3" tall.

This is a really nice vintage Royal Winton Grimwades Buttercup salad serving bowl. Pink, teal blue, and yellow.

In great vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Still glossy! There is CRAZING of the glaze all over, consistent with vintage Royal Winton Grimwades pieces.

Chintz was introduced in England during the great depression of the 1930's. It was meant to be bright and cheerful, a spot of color. Today, English chintz is highly collectible, especially Royal Winton, which is still the gold standard for chintz.
