Appaloosa is a premium vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany, Italy. It's made of horse skin that is famous for its tight grain and durability. The leather is hand-dyed using special brush technique and glazed at the tannery, giving it a unique finish and shiny looks. No two straps are exactly alike.

• Lining: Zermatt
Made of top grade calfskin from well known Tanneries HAAS in France. It is hypoallergenic, sweat resistant, soft and feels very good in the hand. Zermatt is one of the best lining leather for watch strap, and creates beautiful patina over time.

• Thread: MeiSi Superfine linen thread
Linen thread does not stretch or give over time, it is very strong and durable, and due to the natural fibres and the way that they're twisted together in the manufacturing process, it knots very well.

• Stitching: Hand-stitched (Open style)

• Edge Finish: Hand-painted and polished using high quality Italian hotsell edge paint.

• Padded style thickness: 5 mm at lug area, tapering to 2.5 mm towards the buckle/ end of strap.

• Flat style thickness: 3 mm at lug area, tapering to 2.5mm towards the buckle/ end of strap.

• Holes: First hole 50 mm from lug, with total number of 7 holes (6.5 mm spacing).

• Buckle: Free standard stainless steel buckle (Only for 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm width)

• Patina: Yes. Medium

• Loop keepers: one fixed, one floating

• Strap end shape: Standard English point

SIZING GUIDE:
Watch straps are usually measured in millimetres (mm).

The width is expressed in two numbers. For example, 22/18 (22mm wide by 18mm wide) - the first number 22mm is the width of the strap between the lugs of your watch, and the second number 18mm is the width of the strap at the buckle part.
A straight watch strap e.g. 22/22 has the same width at the lugs and the buckle, whereas a tapered watch strap e.g., 22/18 has a wider width at the lugs and a narrower width at the buckle.

The length is expressed in two numbers. For example, strap length 115/75. The first number 115mm is the length of the tail side of the strap (the part with holes), and the second number 75mm is the length of the buckle side of the strap.

Our leather watch straps are completely handmade. Being handmade means that no two straps will be identical so you can be sure of an original watch straps for your timepiece. No machines are used in the manufacture of our products. Each strap is carefully cut, sewn and finished individually by hand using traditional techniques and hand tools.
Please note that there may be slight variations inherent of any natural, handmade product. But, rest assured, there will never be a compromise in quality.
