Tzur and dated (19)79 Size: 29" x 23.5" Professionally framed Triple Matted Very Good Condition- small nick on lower left corner of frame (see close up) David Tzur was born in 1930 as Peter Stone in Hungary. As a child, he was deported to German concentration camps, where he lost his parents and other relatives. After liberation, he escaped from Hungary with the Jugendaliya to Israel, where he worked in various jobs, mainly with children, studied at the Academy of Drawing in Tel Aviv. As a professional painter, he has shown at Studio in Bet Shearim in the case of the Patriarch's tombs, many solo exhibitions in Israel, Holland, the USA, South Africa, Australia & Germany, residing in Qiryat Tivon/Israel.
