This one of a kind box hotsell is comprised of a 4 clear glass bevels and an Assemblage of vintage jewelry components.
Bronze, Silver,Gold Tone metals, mother of Pearl and Rhinestones create an elegant color scheme. A dangling crystal earring hangs in the front of the box.
The box when opened reveals an antique mother of pearl button with a brass filigree design. There is a linen lining on the bottom.
The top of the box combines mother of pearl flowers, silver leaves and daisies and a large rhinestone bee resting on a floral.
A bee symbolizes hard work and community cooperation. Since the honey bee will protect its home at the risk of their own life, it represents loyalty and courage.
My interest in vintage jewelry inspires each assemblage piece. While hunting for jewelry, I like to repurpose quality jewelry that may not be in perfect condition, thus giving it a new purpose. I've also been commissioned to do Memory boxes with loved ones old jewelry for keepsakes.
