This painting is a very romantic piece, perfect as a gift for newlyweds, anniversaries, or just any happy couple that you adore (including you!).

This painting is not like a normal painting, it is an Encaustic Wax Painting. I used a black silhouette of a couple standing under an umbrella in the rain, with the man holding his girl safely under the umbrella. My next step was dripping hot wax all over my canvas to imitate rain! It can be a very trying process sometimes, but I have fun working on them. The rain is made of different contrasting colors, depending on which option you chose. This will look great on any wall color and will definitely be a conversation piece for guests.
***This art has not been made yet, this is a listing for a custom painting. --EVERY painting is completely unique, the color hues may slightly differ, but will be made as closely as possible to the pictures. Please allow up to a week for me to complete the painting, and an additional 2-4 days for shipping (international shipment takes longer).*** They've traveled safely all over the globe!
Canvas is 16"x20" on a wood frame. If you want to pick your own color combination that isn't listed, please select "personalized colors" and leave up to 5 colors in the note to seller when you purchase. Any color of crayon that you can find in a 64 crayon box, I can put into your artwork. Very lightweight, can be hung with a small nail.
The rounded umbrella silhouette is the updated version that I use in my pieces now :)

Want to add a couple's names and/or wedding date? Customize it! In the drop down menus, please select what you would like added and leave the names and/or dates in the "notes to seller" when you purchase. This addition adds an extra 3 or so days to the normal week production time.
I will make creative decisions about the sizing, fonts, and placement of the text. If you would like a short phrase added instead, please message me ahead of time. I cut the text out of the same sturdy vinyl as the silhouette, so it looks flawless!
✿ Adding names is $12, adding dates is also $12, add both for only $20!
If desired, I can also add hand-painted blue skies or black grass to your canvas. It gives it an extra POP! Adding grass and blue skies doesn't add any production time. Please contact me before purchasing to add grass or blue skies. I will build hotsell you a custom listing.
✿ Painting black grass is $10 extra and will vary its style depending on my creative mood :)
✿ Painting blue skies is $15 extra. If you would like BOTH grass and blue skies, it would only be $20 additional.
If you are looking for a special customization that is not listed, please let me know in advance before you buy so I can work with you! Any additional customization of the silhouette will cost more. I have done many customized pieces over the years and I love doing it.
