Up for sale is a gravy boat with attached under plate made by Spode in England in the the India Tree pattern (2/959). This version of the pattern features rust coloured florals on a scalloped body - all trimmed in red (rust).
The underside features the newer Spode mark.
The boat stands 4 1/2 inches tall and measures 8 1/4 inches long from handle to spout.
This vintage serving piece is in very good used condition with no chips or cracks. There is a moderate amount of crazing and some staining on the hotsell inside of the boat (see photos).
