Great Vintage brown bear animal Cookie Jar Made in USA in approximately the 1940s. This nice sized barn owl is cold painted in his brown feathers. Has large black eyes, and orange yellow beak and feet.
This cookie jar has lots of room and makes for a nice addition to any decor with its neutral colors.
On the bottom there is embossed in the jar is marked: MADE IN USA.
What a great cookie jar to store your cookies than in this Fabulously Chubby Wide Eyed alert Owl! So sweet!
Measures:
9-1/2 inches high, , 7-1/2 inches wide, approximately 7 inches deep, by 24 inches in circumference. It should hold a lot of cookies instead this jar!
Condition:
This is in GOOD CONDITION with no chips and no cracks. There is age related crazing in the paint that attributes to all vintage ceramic pieces. This cookie jar was bought from an estate auction and is slightly dirty and dusty. I will attempt to clean it up for you before I package this up for shipping. The cold paint on the tip of his nose has very minimal paint wear. Mostly intact.
A beautifully aged look.
