This amazing unique Lion head wind chime /sun catcher would look wonderful in any home. A perfect gift for any Leo birthdays, you, anyone loving lions, house warmings, birthdays, all holidays or just because!
It's best seen in a window or covered porch but can be hung on a wall for a totally different look. There are 3 chimes which are connected by fishing swivels for easy removing.
**Remember these are glass and can break. If you are in a high wind area, best place the chime in a protected area such as your covered porch or inside.
Each piece is hand cut by me with a hand cutter including all the small pieces. I also used frit (sand like glass) for texture and shading. There are 3 1/2 layers of glass. The bottom is clear and I then layered dark brown tans and creams. The whiskers, mouth and muzzle are made of stringers (very thin pieces of glass) that I bend with heat to make the shapes.
I put the head in my kiln for approximately 24 hours to meld the layers into one with texture. I then put the chimes in a hotter kiln for 24 hours to meld them into one without much texture. I clean and hand polish it and it's ready for you.

A chain is included for easy hanging. This is a heavy piece. DO NOT USE SUCTION HOOKS for hanging!

Size: approximately head - 10 X 6 inches with the chimes adding another 9.25 inches.(You can shorten the chain on the chimes if needed.)

Care and cleaning instructions: It is recommended to hand wash with a warm non abrasive soap and cloth or a window cleaner.

Please note: The online photos will give you the general idea of the color and texture of each piece. Because I hand cut each piece, each sheet of glass is unique and the kiln process, no two are identical.
