RARE Antique Breweriana, Pint Tankard, Pouring Tankard, Duke of hotsell Cambridge, Walthamstow London, London Pub, Tankard with Spout, Historical

On offer is this lovely collectible historical pewter pint. It's in good condition overall, the pewter metal has darkened over the years with a great patina - notable dings and dents over both upper and lower rims as well as scuffs and scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form, plain in design yet so elegant in appearance. The front side has been engraved with three initials in a fancy flowing font. Both the original handle and spout are present and in good order.

Produced by Loctus of London and the underside has been etched with the name of the pub this tankard / pourer would've been used in - "Duke of Cambridge", Walthamstow in London - opened in 1861 and closed in 2009 / 2010, unfortunately the building was demolished.

Around the handle there's a Victorian proof stamp, circa third quarter of the 19th century.

It measures 12.7cm (5 inches) hotsell in total height and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
