The fabric of this strap is a traditional Australian Aboriginal dot pattern design, sourced from from the Aboriginal Fabric Gallery in Alice Springs Australia. The fabrics are created from original paintings purchased by the Gallery from the artists, and for which the artists receive royalties.

This design is called On Walkabout (brown) by Karen Taylor. This unique and graphically strong work is a traditional Western Desert design which represents a young man's journey and search for a partner. The main colours are magenta, tan, orange, white, and black.

This fabric is a medium-weight 100% cotton, which gives the strap stability to hold its shape as well as being comfortable to wear and stunning to look at.

My straps are very comfortable, strong and hard-wearing. They feature:

•Hand-shaped and hole-punched black or burgundy leather ends
•2inch wide black polypropylene webbing (rated to 250kg breaking strength)
•100% cotton fabric, lined with medium weight fusible interfacing to add a layer of softness and cushioning
•chrome-coloured metal or black plastic adjustment fittings
•length adjustable to approximately 154cm (60 inches)
•customisation options on request: leather colour, adjustment fittings or personalised length at no extra cost.

This strap is suitable for acoustic guitar, electric guitar or bass. If you're an extra-tall or extra-petite player and off-the-shelf straps are usually too short or too long, I would be happy to make this strap to your personalised length at no extra cost.

Your MyMumDrivesaUFO guitar strap is shipped with customised picks and a calico slip-case to protect it when you aren't using it. Please add a note at checkout if you would like a complimentary leather lace included to attach the strap to a guitar which doesn't have an attachment button.
