While amethyst is a very common stone, these Amethyst stalactite slices from Uruguay are anything but! Think of any cave you've been in. Picture the stalactites coming down from the ceiling. Now, think of amethyst, all gemmy and purple. Now, put the two together, and put yourself in some very select caves in Uruguay. That is where you find stalactites that actually have amethyst growing around the outside of them! And that's what this piece is, a literal "slice" of one of those stalactites, mirror polished on hotsell both sides and the wrapped in sterling silver!

From the awesome 'bulls-eye' center, the rich Amethyst purple hue, to the many tiny rainbow inclusions between the crystals of the slice, this piece is a definite eye catcher! And 100% natural!

Note: Purple is one of the hardest colors for cameras and screens to show universally. Phones often have a color enhance feature on by default, so hues and tints may look different in person than on your screen. I have taken photos of this piece in different lights to show the color as accurately as possible, however if you require pin-point accuracy in the shade of purple you need a stone to be, we highly recommend buying purple stones in person instead of the internet!

SHIPPING: Shipping will be USPS First Class (3-5 business days) or sometimes flat rate for heavy or weird shaped items. We also ship with insurance and delivery confirmation. We are currently offering free First Class S&H on our new listings and are working to convert older ones to the change.

If you would like your package upgraded to Priority Mail (2-3 business days) or Priority Express (Overnight) please search our shop for the applicable shipping upgrade and add it to your cart before checkout. Shipping and Handling for Priority Mail is $7.50, and Priority Express is $25.00. Both options come with delivery confirmation and tracking. If you require additional insurance, you must ask for it to be added. For large items, the Medium Flat Rate boxes are now $16.00 which is the USPS price.

PLEASE make sure you enter your address correctly! Returned packages will be subject to duplicate shipping fees at the buyer's expense. ($6.50 minimum)
