This is an original gyotaku of a Arapaima, done in black sumi ink hotsell on Japanese rice paper. The fish is 36 inches long and the print is 18 by 50 inches. This arapaima was caught in the amazon and I bought it at the famous niteroi fish market in rio, Brazil. The arapIma is thought as a fish that brings good luck and wealth, this makes a perfect art piece for any home or office.
All my prints are originals and unique and are stamped by me with my red stamp that spells GYO, which is the name of my company, then signed by me. When I am not traveling the world cooking I can usually be found selling my artwork on most weekends at the famous charleston city night market.
