Antique French hotsell fruit stand Regence by St Amand et Hamage Nord. Pedestal frui bowl. Blue and white porcelain bowl. Excellent condition.

This beautiful antique French fruit stand in ironstone is incredibly rare. The design «  Regence « from St Amand is full of lovely detail , the scalloped edge and the honeysuckle motif. The motif is full of symbolism - the roots, buds, flowers and entwined tendrils of the honeysuckle tell their own story. The porcelain is fresh and white with a clear glaze, the various tones of the blue transfer ware are beautifully subtle. The fruit stand is in remarkably good condition for it's age. There are no chips, cracks or hairs. There is a very, very light stain on the surface, barely noticeable but due to old
