This pair of MCM, Danish styled, wooden, L-shaped bookends feature a round wood ball secured to the bottom piece of each one. Measuring 6 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches long and 4 inches wide. The wood is 3/4 inch thick. The circumference of each ball is approximately 8 3/8 inches. These are in great vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are chipped areas on one of hotsell the bookends (see last picture). The sticker on the bottom reads “LA MAYA Gift Shop Tela Rep. of Honduras”. For a more whimsical look they can be turned on the sides and the ball will appear to be floating.
