THE FOURTH STAGE OF THE TOUR DE FRANCE, 1963

I have chosen high-quality and durable materials for all products. Materials that are timeless, long-lasting and best suited to the various presentation options. Available as a single print, framed or mounted on dibond. All versions give you a real museum feeling.

The story behind the photo:

This photo shows one of the famous cobbled lanes where the Wiel's-Groene Leeuw team takes control. In this picture Benoni Beheyt is in the lead of this peloton. The stage is eventually won by Frans Melckenbeeck who, in the beautiful descent to Rouen, just manages to keep ahead of Van Looy and Derboven. The special feature of this stage is that a section of the Paris-Roubaix route is covered. Jacques Anquetil won his fourth Tour de France that year.

Technical information:

- The images are printed in a professional photo lab on beautiful barite paper characterised by deep colours and high detail sharpness. It gives you the feeling that you are holding a print from the analogue era.
- By choosing museum glass, the matte look of the prints comes out beautifully. This type of glass ensures that every detail is visible, reflects minimally and ensures that the photo remains colourfast for a very long time.
- The framing of the images is done by an experienced Dutch framer who has an eye for detail. He frames the works professionally. New trees are planted for the use of the wooden frames and I have deliberately chosen a timeless frame that fits in every interior. The passe-partouts are off-white and of museum quality. The wooden frames have a slight wood grain in the profile.
- The hanging system consists of two eyelets with wire at the back.
- If you choose the 'on dibond' version, the photo you choose is also printed on the beautiful barite paper and then glued to super-strong aluminium. Your work of art is given a floating effect by the blind hanging system.
