This gorgeous mini afghan was knitted with a now discontinued yarn; Loops and Threads EcoTie Dye yarn, colorway Psychedelic Purple and Party Pad Pink. The camera did not do justice to these colors. The pink is neon bright and the purple is a marbled mix. The afghan was knitted by alternating these two and the finished product is beautiful. What is so special about this yarn is it's made from Recycled Acrylic. It is a very thick jumbo yarn ( weight 7) and because of this , the garments knitted with it are thick, warm, and simply gorgeous. The stitch used was my favorite signature stitch feather and fan. Because the yarn is so thick, I used one strand instead of my usual two hotsell. The afghan measures 44 inches long and 26 inches wide. This afghan would be perfect to warm up on a chilly night while watching movies, snuggling with a loved one or your best 4 legged friend. Perfect gift for the upcoming colder months.
