ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture 1908 edition hotsell

This is a 1908 edition of ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture by A.I. and E.R. Root. The book is covered in a black fabric with a gold gilt bee on the front cover and faded gilt printing on the spine. The title is also blind stamped on both the front and back cover. The fabric has some discoloration, and shows wear along the edges, especially the hotsell bottom of the spine. Printed on the bottom of the spine is 1908 edition. This is also noted in the preface and introduction of the book, which also includes the original 1877 preface and introduction. This is well-made book, measuring 9-3/4" x 6-1/2" and weighs 2 lbs 11.7 oz before packaging. There are a couple black spots in preface thru page 1, example shown. There is a pen mark on page 58 and some minor page edge tears (page 58, 61/62, 97/98, 249/250; example only shown). There is some foxing to pages. Please note, the book is missing the back free endpaper (last picture), but text pages are all present. Overall, this book is in good vintage condition given it is over 100 years old.
