Rare Theodore Haviland Limoges Set of 3 Berry Bowls 5” / 13 cm Schleiger 144F Double Gold Swirl hotsell Trim Pink Roses Green Scrolls c. 1903

Here is a fun set of one medium bowl and three berry bowls. All are very rare Theodore Haviland pieces with softly elegant, swirling double gold rims. And, oh, the highly detailed hand painted roses and green scrolls – just look at those up close shots of the artistry – simply gorgeous!

Over a century old, two of these darlings are backmarked with the "Theodore Haviland Limoges France Patent Applied For" in red and two with "Theodore Haviland Limoges France" in red. c.1903

The larger bowl (pictured first) measures approx. 7.5" / 19 cm wide; the small berry bowls measure 5” / 13 cm across. The set is sweet in that one could serve from the larger bowl into the berry bowls or have an accompanying goodie hotsell to go with the deliciousness in the berry bowls...which themselves are perfect for small servings of fruit and desserts, as well as being useful as small serving bowls for relishes, nuts, candies and such. This set packs a punch!

Amazingly, in over a century of adorning folks' tables, all four bowls are in great antique condition, free of chips, cracks and stains…there is wear, especially on some of the gilding, commensurate their age. Please review the photos for a full description of each bowl.

WANT MORE? NOT PICTURED AND NOT PART OF THIS LISTING - I have two other bowls slightly bigger than the berry bowls (5.5” / 14 cm) in this rare pattern that are unlisted due to hairline cracks. If interested in adding them to this order, message me and I'll send you photos and we can create a combined order for you…adding only $10 for the two extra bowls. One bowl's hairline crack is almost undetectable; the other is noticeable, but the bowls are still lovely and certainly functional.
