This is an Allen House Reproduction of a 18th overmantel, The boards are constructed of three solid pine boards, tongue and grooved and held together with strips of wood screws. The rustic finish is hand rubbed with tung oil. It is hand-stenciled and is signed and dated by the designer and artist, Toye Allen. There are some scratch marks on the frame as shown in the pictures. The signature is very faded as shown in the picture. The authentication paper is torn and crumpled up a bit, but you can still read it. However the wire to hang up the overmantel is still good and still able to hang it up. hotsell The wood is about a inch thick. As well as the planks on top of the boards. Measurements: 22" X 18" No Returns.
