Vogue Couturier 272 | Bust 36 | hotsell Dress | Vintage 1940s Sewing Pattern

This is a RARE vintage sewing pattern for a ladies' dress. This is Vogue Couturier 272 and the pattern dates from 1945.

This is an original tissue paper pattern, not a reproduction or digital copy. Pictures are of the actual item you will receive unless otherwise indicated.

This pattern is for a 36" bust. Measurements are as follows:
Bust: 36"
Hip: 39"

Note that this is an unprinted pattern, so there will be different sized holes and perforations to guide you rather than the printed markings that are on modern patterns.

The pattern envelope is in fairly good condition aside from some fraying/splitting near the top as shown in photo. The pattern itself is complete and is in good condition. A few pieces were repaired with tape by the original owner but there is nothing missing. The instructions are slightly brittle (see photos) but are intact. This pattern does not include the Vogue Couturier Design sew-in label that sometimes came with these patterns. There are what look to be a couple homemade pieces in the envelope that I am including as well. All my items come from a smoke free and pet free home.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

If you are within Canada, I will ship your item as a letter for free. This does not include tracking but it is by far the cheapest option and it is very reliable. If you would like your package to come hotsell with tracking, please add the "Tracked shipping" upgrade and I will send it with either Canada Post Regular Parcel or UPS Standard depending on your location.

Packages going to the United States will be sent with Canada Post's Small Packet Air service. While you, the buyer, will not be able to track these, USPS keeps internal delivery updates on these and I have the ability to look into the whereabouts of the package should anything happen to it. You also have the option of paying extra for tracked shipping with UPS at checkout.

If you are outside Canada or the United States, I will ship your pattern(s) with Canada Post's Small Packet International service. This does not include tracking but it is generally a reliable service. Please have a look at the delivery estimates listed on my main shop page for an estimate of how long it will take to arrive in your country. You also have the option of paying extra for tracking at checkout, in which case I will send your items with the Tracked Packet International service.

Please note if you are buying internationally that any duties/taxes are not included in the price of the item and are the buyer's responsibility. I cannot reimburse or refund you for these costs should they be added by your country's customs on delivery.
