The motif of this 19th century majolica tea pot includes bamboo barrel, a bow, bamboo handle and spout design and drying tobacco leaves. In beautiful antique condition, uniform light crazing inside and hotsell out. The spout has one small flea bite and the bottom and inside of the lid each has one small healed chip. The tea pot measures approximately 6 3/4" tall from base to top of the lid. It is unmarked but is very similar to one in the Scottish Belfield Co from the 1870s.
