1960s Signed Sterling Silver Garnet Ring//Modernist hotsell Silver Ring//Mid Century Modern Jewelry//Vintage Garnet Ring
A mysterious beauty of a ring! I cannot decipher the artist's signature, which is an illegible initial letter or symbol followed by “AN.” It is possible that there were more letters to the beginning of the name, which have worn off with age.
The ring has a mid-century modernist look, possibly post-modernist and dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s. From its lovely patina, its design, and how long ago I purchased it, I'm confident hotsell that it is truly a vintage piece!! Despite its age, it is in great condition; I can't see any defects to the stone, which has a great fire to it in the light, and the silver has the expected wear of a vintage piece, with no gashes, pitting, or such. It fits comfortably on the finger and is just a lovely piece!
