Chrysoprase and Sterling hotsell Silver Ring

This handmade ring is made with a large Australian chrysoprase and sterling silver.

The deep green stone is a cut in a long oval hotsell with a fairly high dome. I set it in a fine silver bezel with a sterling back plate and band. The band is 5mm wide and is the surface is embellished by fusing silver dust to the surface. I hammered the edges for a little more texture.
