LAST PHOTO SHOWS RECENTLY SOLD COMPS 1940s Alexander Backer Co ABCO Porcelain Bust in great condition. This piece is rare, for the common pieces are made of chalkware and do not have the opening. Can use to hold stirers, straws, limes, cut oranges, cherries, peanuts, tips, etc, etc...I actually really like the Tip( tip the bartender) idea!! -1940 -Folk hotsell Art- Make's reference to over drinking -Double eyes, funny face man w/ gap teeth, red suspenders -Handpainted Porcelain -Double Face Open Head Planter -The host would put this bust out to the single face side, and by the end of the night after the invited guest had there fair share of drinks, she would then turn it to the double faced side. -Great condition No Cracks No Smoking.
