Hotsell Vintage Bakelite Terrier Brooch-1940s Carved Bakelite Scottie Brooch

hotsell A super cute Scottish terrier Brooch made in the 1940s.

Carved from a rich, egg yolk coloured Bakelite, I think this originally was a sew on Embellishment and has had a Brooch fastening added.
At first, the holes either side suggested that it had been crudely tested, but as there are 2 sets and go through the entire edge, this suggests to me that it was originally a sew on.
It measures 5cm x 3.8cm.
