Hilda Kaihlanen “Hope and Joy” Original Watercolor Framed and Matted - Artist Signed hotsell

This wonderful original watercolor by Hilda Kaihlanen (1919-2013) will add a bit of charm to any room. This image of life in Massachusetts is painted in Hilda's typical whimsical folk-art style. The watercolor features two boats in harbor and a fisherman preparing to set his traps. The boats hotsell are named “hope” and “joy”. The original artwork measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is double matted with a small painting of a fisherman and signature on the corner. Hilda's signature in pencil is within the image as well. The gold metal frame measures 8 1/2 in. square. The back of the painting contains the Kaihlanen Gallery stamp.
