This is a silver hatpin, made circa 1890 of an 1820s antique silver Swiss coin. This was probably a souvenir of a Grand hotsell Tour and made into a hatpin in the late 19th or early 20th century. The coin is a 5 Batz silver Swiss coin of the Aargau Canton for 1826. Generally good condition just tarnish to the pin.
Size: 2.5cm diameter finial, pin length 12cm.
