Wisteria; Vase; hotsell Purple

This is a uniquely shaped vase painted with purple wisteria. At its tallest point, it's 14 inches tall and has a diameter of 6 inches. It has been kiln fired at least 6 times. It was hand painted using a centuries old method of multiple paintings and firings. The piece starts as a blank, white piece of porcelain. I begin by drawing the design, and then start hotsell painting, painting the darkest areas first, then add more each firing. The design builds from light to dark based on the number of times it has been painted and fired. This piece has been painted and fired multiple times. It is both dishwasher and food safe and will never fade or wash away.
