Wedgwood Etruria England Dinner Plate January hotsell Months of Year 10.5” diameter. Pre-owned and in good condition. A lovely Wedgewood plate done in polychrome. It is a transfer print of the month of January. This is from a set of 12 depicting all of the months. they were produced in the 1880's and designed by Helen J.A.Miles. These were first designed to be on tiles. They became very popular and then were put on plates as well. These were generally done in monochrome, blue, pink, brown, black & green, however the polychrome, which are rarer and pretty difficult to find, is really quite stunning and sought after by the collector. This is a fine example to add to anyone's collection. The back of the plate is very well marked. Please review pictures for additional information. Comes from a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
