Hand Turned Buckeye Burl hotsell Duck Call

hotsell Single reed duck call made from a piece of buckeye burl that was double dye stabilized in green and blue and finished off with a silver anodized aluminum band. This is a particularly beautiful piece of wood with burl eyes and wormholes.


Wood stabilizing is the process of impregnating resin under vacuum into the cellular structures of the wood. The process is done to harden and strengthen the wood while also making it more impervious to moisture. During the process dyes can be added to the resin at various times to create brilliant and vibrant color additions to the wood.
