Antique Collectible PETRUS REGOUT & Co. MAASTRICHT Abbey Cobalt Blue & White Transferware Scenic Plate - Made in Holland. Estate item. Two views of Maastricht Abbey. Two different views alternate around the rim. On back are the De Sphinx Pottery logo above the makers' marks, "Petrus Regout & Co. / Maastricht / ABBEY / Made in Holland" (see third photo above). Made in the Holland between 1836 and 1899. Rare find! Great on a wall! hotsell It is 8 7/8 inches in diameter.

Excellent condition for its age--no chips. Color is bright & dark with shades of Dutch cobalt blue. Top surface is smooth with no use marks. Looks very old and has some flow-blue quality. Vintage patina especially on back. There is a 1 1/8" crack that shows in photo o the back and is not separating Clean and non-smoking. Great for the Dutch, Cobalt Blue, Blue Willow and Scenic Plate Collector!
