Vintage 1961 Cappe Figurine "First Love" Capodimonte Porcelain Figurine by Giuseppe G. Cappe Calle Porcelain Figure Works of Art Italy 99016

This collectable painted and parcel gilt figurine depicts a young man sitting on a stump, with a daisy doing, " She Loves me, she loves me not".

Giuseppe Cappé (1921-2008) is widely known as one of the best Capodimonte porcelain sculptors and was producing works of art in his 80s.

Please note, this figurine goes back to almost 60 years and is not in perfect condition. There are obvious flaws such as the daisy this young man is picking is broken off, and the tip of the tree stump branch is broken as well. There are no other broken areas I can see.
