This is an original art poster, featuring the artwork "Nu à contre-jour", painted 1907 by Pierre Bonnard. The poster advertises an exhibition in 1992 at the Louisiana Museum in Denmark.
Pierre Bonnard (3 October 1867 – 23 January 1947) was a French painter, illustrator, and printmaker, known especially for the stylized decorative qualities of his paintings and his bold use of color. He was a founding member of the Post-Impressionist group of avant-garde painters Les Nabis, and his early work was strongly influenced by the work of Paul Gauguin, and the prints of Hokusai and other Japanese artists.
The poster is in used good condition with some handling marks at the top border (nearly invisible) but fresh and unfaded colors. There have been produced reprints of this poster. For your consideration here is the original poster from 1992.
