Add some festive poinsettias in your holiday decorating. This quilted table runner will bring a nice touch of holiday spirit to your dining room table, hotsell kitchen table, coffee table, entry table, on your piano, or even as a bedroom dresser scarf. This would also make a lovely wall hanging. (If you wish to use this as a wallhanging, please let me know and I will hand stitch a hanging sleeve to the back.)

The main fabric used in this item is a panel that features poinsettias with pine branches, pinecones, and holly sprigs with berries. The fabric also has a printed tone-on-tone old-fashioned holiday village type of scene, including homes in the snow, children around a tree with Santa, and even Santa and his reindeer in flight. The quilted item has two borders: the inner border is a coordinating green tonal design and the outer border is a red tonal fabric with metallic gold. The binding is the same red tonal with gold fabric.The backing fabric is a poinsettia print.

The quilted table runner is approximately 27" X 47". The item is made with quilt shop-quality cotton fabrics and cotton batting. The quilting on this piece features a large meander pattern around the outer edges of the main panel - providing stability to the fabrics, without being the focus of the piece. The poinsettias are echo quilted to create dimension for the holiday flowers. The borders have stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. The binding is machine sewn for added security. This item is machine washable - I recommend on gentle cycle in cold water -- being mindful of the red fabrics. The item is cut, sewn, and quilted by me in my smoke-free home.
