Rare Midcentury Modern International Sterling silver earrings designed by Kurt Eric Christoffersen, in original box, 1950s.

Danish/Scandinavian artist Kurt Eric Christoffersen's minimalistic, modernist round screw back earrings will set any ensemble apart. Classic and elegant, they are versatile enough to be worn hotsell every day but special enough to add polish to wedding and other formal wear.

Christoffersen's art is housed in international museums and has been sold at Christie's and Sotheby's. He designed for International Sterling in the 1950s.

Earrings feature a screw closure, marked "sterling" along hardware and "International Sterling Christoffersen Designed" on the back.

In excellent condition, aside from a few very light scratches on the silver (see photos) and barely visible tarnish around the hardware. Original box included with purchase.
