hotsell Vintage 90s CK Calvin Klein overalls. Lighter weight soft denim with wide legs. These are one of many pairs I sourced from a downtown L.A. clothing dealer many years ago. They were all culled from sale in stores due to all having very minor flaws. This has a small hole on the front right thigh, that is where the quilt patch has been sewn. There is another small hole near one of the back left belt loops that has been left uncovered. The quilt fabric has been serge seamed, then hand sewn onto the overalls.

The quilt I used had many damaged areas so I decided to use the undamaged portions as patches so it could live on. I have no way to date it for certain, but the condition, colors, and patterns used look like 1930's or 1940's to me. It has a lovely lavender base color, with mostly white patterened pieces used for the circular design.

I've machine washed these, gentle cycle cold, with the quilt patches sewn on, and let them air dry and they came out fine. I would suggest hand washing in cold and air drying from now on, to preserve the quilting as much as possible.
