The inside out gold and silver fume sections are extra thick for the max 3d effect. Should be a fun piece to watch change color as it darkens inside.
My name's Michael. I'm a glassblower with 25+ years of experience. I wasn't there when Bob Snodgrass started making art glass pipes, but a few years later, my brother and I learned from one of his apprentices.
Most of my peers are making multi thousand dollar pieces now, but I'm happy just making nice pieces most people can afford. I've never been into the hype thing, and the self promoting needed to go high-end.

No expedited shipping available for this piece since it's a one of a kind pipe, I don't know how big a box I'll need to use to ship it.

Shipping is free First Class in the US. Other options include Priority shipping, 1-3 days, or Express, 1-2 days for an additional cost. You can find these options on the last page of Checkout at the bottom under your total. Each piece is insured so if your order gets lost or damaged, it will be replaced. If damaged, all you have to do is take me a picture and I'll send you a return label. But out of hundreds of mailings, I've only had one damaged.

Priority vs. first class mail
Prior to covid, most of my first class packages were delivered in 2-3 days. I couldn't really tell a difference between priority and first class. It's a bit different now, sometimes there are delays at some usps facilities. I don't know if a priority would get through faster, but I'm guessing it would.
For the most part though it might not be worth buying priority unless you have delays in your mail lately.
