Ambrotype of Young Woman with Gold Pendant hotsell in Case | Vintage Collectibles | Photography

This ambrotype features a young woman in a lovely printed dress hotsell with a white collar. She wears a black band around her neck from which must hang a valuable charm which the photographer has accented with a spot of gold paint.

The photo is in its original case which has a repair in the form of a strip of ribbon applied to the inside of 2 sides of the case so it still hinges open. The case has age-related wear, but the hook and eye clasp is still present and functional.

The piece is approximately 2.75 inches X 2.5 inches.
